Gigi,
Stiu de multi pesti sub masura tinuti inutil in cleme

Hello, I’m looking for the most sensitive jigging blank for small plastics.
My baits will be small plastics sized 3‘‘ – 4‘‘ and weighted between 3/16 – 3/8 grams.
In my opinion the following blanks could be a good choice:
Phenix TX-683ML-C
Phenix TX-714MH-C
St.Croix 5S70MF-G
St.Croix 5C610MXF-B
At the moment I prefere the Phenix TX-683ML-C, but I have no idea if the blank is rated correct and fits form my lures.
Has anybody build up one of these blanks and can tell me if it works fine with the lures I want to xxx?
Unfortunately, I have no possibility to touch one of these blanks before buying it.
Hope anybody can help with this.
Best regards, Fabian

3/8 of a gram? Or do you mean ounces? I assume you mean ounces.
I personally think you need to be looking for ratings up to 3/8 ounce or even 1/2 ounce. At 5/8 and 3/4 ounce I think you're too heavy. Given that I'd opt for the following...
5S70MLF (lightest power option)
5S69MLXF (about 7% heavier in power than the MLF)
NFC MB 663-1 HM
NFC CB 704-1 IM (heaviest power option)
I personally think your Phenix options are rated too heavy. Although what I'm seeing of the Phenix K2's is that they are rated heavier than they truely are. Rods tend to feel quite sensitive when they're two powers under rated. So, you should probably opt for something slightly heavier than other manufacturers offerings.

Just received this rod blank.
Measured out at 62°, 316 grams of power, and weighed 1.15 ounces.
In comparison to other 6'8" blanks...
25% less power than the 5S68MXF
30% less power than a BC802 GLX
37% less than the BC803 GLX
Very close in power to the SJ782 GLX, 5S70MLF, 5S69MLXF, 5S63MXF, MB 664-1 IM.
