I am sorry to trouble you, but I found your email address on a Romanian fishing website, and wondered if you might be able to help me contact an old friend of mine, Grigore (Iuliu) Lungu. I stayed with him in Tirgue Mures in 1990, and he took me fishing on the Ilva, the Salad and some other lovely rivers. I was writing a book about fishing in eastern Europe, and I am returning this summer to do a new book. I have had no contact with Grigore for many years - I don't even know if he is still living in Romania. But I remember that he was captain of the fly-fishing team a long time ago.
If you have any information about him, I would be very grateful. If he is no longer in the country, and you know someone else who could take me back to those rivers, I would also be very grateful.
