XML era lanseta de top de la Cabelas, tot ceea ce au putut face mai bun.
Cabela's XMLTi Spinning Rods
Technology and performance come together to make these rods some of the finest we've ever fished. Combining the best features of our already established XML series with several modifications, they are incredibly light, super sensitive and extremely durable. Nickel-titanium alloy Recoil guides are hard, yet flexible enough to endure multiple deformations, and always spring back to their original form. They can be pushed completely flat against the blank with no adverse effects. Gone are the days of bent and broken guides. The advantages don't stop there ; these guides are also four to five times lighter than ceramic guides, more wear resistant and won't rust in any environment. The blanks are our legendary XML rod blanks which are 25% stronger than the originals but at the same time 10% lighter. Crafted of ultra-high 64-million modulus-blended graphite using strength-enhancing Spiral Core Technology and Generation III bonding resin, they feature an aesthetically elite-looking titanium gray color that sets them apart from the competition. Reel seats eliminate exposed threads when the reel is snugged up. Technique-specific models include our exposed blank reel seat to eliminate weight and increase sensitivity. All rear grips have a composite cork butt cap.

Multzumesc foarte mult,m-am lamurit partzial,deoarece din descrierea lansetelor din link-ul dat rezulta ca acelea au alt tip de inele si alt tip de grip.

Aceasta, varianta XMLTi cu inele din aliaj nichel-titan a costat la vremea ei 180 USD, era varful de gama si vorbesc gurile rele ca blancul avea garantie ... 25 de ani (“25 year limited warranty”). Inelele de titan au proprietatea ca le poti indoi pana le lipesti de blanc si revin perfect inapoi, in pozitia initiala si evident nu ruginesc niciodata.

Da... si unele se mai rup, fac un zgomot ca draq cand trece firul prin ele... (de inelele recoil vorbesc)
Cat despre XML ti are acelasi blanc ca si xml simplu, la ele difereau inelele si mandina. Pe XML simplu ersu puse Fuji alconite.

Eu am cumparat-o acum vreo 4 ani,am dat pe ea 169,99 fara taxe,dar a ramas nefolosita deoarece nu i-am gasit utilizarea in zonele si stilul meu de pescuit.
